The PA will be maintained through the completion of the project.

Comprehensive and accurate information up-front regarding:

  • Existing site conditions

  • Record drawings, etc.

Establish realistic cost estimates with reasonable contingencies:

  • Preliminary based on a cost per square foot
  • Design Development unit cost breakdown in CSI format with alternates identified
  • Construction Document comprehensive estimate - refined and updated unit cost breakdown in CSI format

Establish aggressive but realistic phasing and project schedules.

Establish a positive, cooperative relationship with the Contractor.

  • Establish documentation and communication procedures
  • Process submittals and information requests in a timely manner
  • Enforce contract conditions, but be flexible

Promote lateral communication among Consultants and subcontractors.

Provide an aggressive but fair evaluation of change-order requests and proposal request costs.
